The Miles Exchange Factor x5 allows Silver Tier members to earn 25% bonus Sindbad miles on Oman Air, and the more miles you earn, the quicker you can claim your favourite rewards.
For example, on a flight from Muscat to London Heathrow if the fare (excluding taxes) is OMR 366.300, you will earn 3,810 Sindbad miles for travel in Economy Class. With the 25% Silver Tier bonus you will earn an additional 952 Sindbad miles, giving you a total of 4,762 Sindbad miles.
At Muscat International Airport Passenger Terminal our Silver members and accompanying families can check-in at the dedicated 'Sindbad Silver' counters D -3 and D -4 in the Economy Class check-in area. At all other destinations, you are invited to use our Business Class check-in counters when flying in the Economy. Experience a fast and hassle-free check-in process.
Our valued Silver members will be entitled to the following baggage allowance:
Business and Business Studio travel: 10 kg.
Economy Class travel: 10 kg (excluding tickets bought on Super Saver fares).
Note: The weight of a single bag should not exceed 30 kg.
Oman Air baggage policy
You are welcome to experience the comfort and hospitality of our Business Studio/Business Class lounges at all destinations when travelling on Oman Air international flights. Simply present your Boarding Pass and Sindbad card and relax in the lounge before your flight.
Sindbad Silver members travelling in Economy Class and departing from Muscat International Airport may access the Business Class lounge up to three hours before their scheduled Oman Air flight. If you wish to use the lounge for longer, you may do so by paying the applicable charges.
Sindbad Silver members travelling on staff tickets (AD/ID) are not eligible to use the Airport lounge facility across the Oman air network.
Please note, when travelling on domestic routes within Oman i.e. between Muscat, Salalah, Duqm and Khasab you will be able to access Oman Air lounges only when travelling in Business Class. Silver members travelling in Economy Class on domestic routes will not be able to access the lounge.
Silver members travelling in Economy Class and connecting to/from domestic flights from/to international flights are eligible to use the Business Class lounge at Muscat International Airport up to three hours before their connecting departure provided both flights are operated by Oman Air and booked on a single ticket.
