Upgrade your next flight from Business to Business Studio. The Oman Air Business Studio Mini Suite offers unparalleled levels of comfort and space. Request for a Reward upgrade from Business to Business Studio and experience the difference. To book a Business Studio upgrade, you need to have purchased or booked a Business or a Business Prime fare. To upgrade tickets booked in Business Lite, you will have to pay the difference in fare to the next available fare brand and then request the upgrade.

Business and Business Studio: 20 kg.
Economy Class travel: 20 kg (excluding tickets bought on Super Saver fares).


Note: The weight of a single bag should not exceed 30 kg.

Members travelling in Business Studio & Business Class

You are welcome to experience the comfort and hospitality of our Business Studio /Business Class lounges at all destinations when travelling on Oman Air international flights. Simply present your Boarding Pass and Sindbad card and relax in the lounge before your flight.

Invite a guest along

Sindbad Gold members travelling on international routes, may invite a guest to the Business Class lounge irrespective of their class of travel provided you are both travelling on the same Oman Air flight.

Domestic Flights within Oman

For domestic travel within Oman i.e. between Muscat and Salalah, Duqm & Khasab Gold members can access Oman Air lounges only when travelling in Business Class. Gold members travelling in Economy Class on domestic routes are not eligible to access the lounges.

Members travelling in Economy class

Sindbad Gold members travelling in Economy Class on Oman Air international flight may access the Airport lounge at Muscat International Airport up to three hours before their scheduled Oman Air flight. If you wish to use the lounge for longer, you may do so by paying the applicable charges.

Connecting Passengers

Sindbad Gold members travelling in Economy Class and connecting to/from domestic flights to/from international flights are eligible to use the lounge up to three hours before their connecting departure provided both flights are operated by Oman Air.

Members travelling on Staff ID tickets

Sindbad Gold members travelling on staff tickets (AD/ID) are not eligible to use airport lounge facilities across the Oman Air network.

Priority baggage handling
You will receive priority baggage delivery, which means your bags will be among the first to arrive at your destination. At the time of departure, your bags will be identified for priority delivery using ‘Priority luggage’ tags.
Guaranteed seat on Economy
Guaranteed seat reservation in Economy Class is available to Gold members holding a “Prime” fare Economy Class ticket. A guaranteed seat will be confirmed in Economy Class only when no seats are available in any other class on a particular flight. The guaranteed seat reservation request must be made at least 72 hours prior to flight departure.
