With a Family account, you can nominate up to eight family members and whenever they travel on Oman Air, 100% of the Sindbad miles they have earned for the flight will be transferred to the family head’s account! Terms & Conditions
Setting up a Family account
- Sindbad members can set up a Family account by following the below process. Members who set up the account will be designated Family head for the Family account.
- If you are a Family head you may nominate a maximum of eight Family members over two years of age to become members of your Family account.
- Use Join now link to enroll your family members. Thereafter send the name, Sindbad number and relationship type of your family member to email@example.com. The Sindbad Service Center will verify the relationship of the nominated family members and process your request.
- Family members will become a part of the family account only if they accept the invitations sent by Family head.
- Eligible Family account relationships are Father, Mother, Spouse and Children.
- Oman Air may at its discretion request for supporting documents to support your relationship with your nominated member. Any family account member that does not belong to the permitted relationships will be removed from the family account and the Family head will be notified of the same. All miles earned by the family members until that date will remain in the Family head's account.
- Every Family account member must have a unique email address.
- Family members will be issued with individual Sindbad numbers and Sindbad cards.
- Family members will be able to access their accounts with individual Sindbad number and password.
Changes to Family account
- Changes to Family account such as addition or removal of a member can only be requested by the Family head.
- You may remove or replace only one member from your Family account in a calendar year.
Family account and mileage earning
- 100% of the Sindbad miles of a Family member earned after the date they are made part of a Family account is transferred to the Family head's account.
- Family members are eligible to accrue Sindbad miles for all activities including promotions and transactions with Sindbad Partners.
- Family members are eligible to accrue Tier miles and therefore can achieve Silver and Gold tier once they meet the required criteria. Sindbad Tier miles earned by a family member will not be transferred to the Family head's account.
Family account and redeeming miles
- In a Family account, only the Family head may request for Reward tickets.
