You are invited to direct your calls regarding any aspect of the Sindbad Frequent Flyer Programme to your own, tier-specific call centre. You will find this number printed on the back of your membership card.  

You are entitled to preferential seating on Oman Air. To ensure the seat of your choice is available, please make your request at the time of booking. You are also welcome to record your preference for window or aisle seats and your meal preference in your membership profile. You may also select your favourite meal from a choice of vegetarian, Asian vegetarian, seafood, Hindu, diabetic, Jain, fruit-and-nuts or a child meal.

When seats are unavailable on your preferred flight, you will be given priority on the waiting list. Gold members receive top, overall priority.  

Your Gold membership entitles you to a guaranteed seat in Economy Class for bookings made within 48 hours of departure. Conditions apply.

Check-in at Business Class Counters

You may check-in using the Oman Air Business Class Counters at any time, even when flying Economy Class.

You are guaranteed an excess baggage allowance of 15kgs as a Silver member and 20kgs as a Gold member. This is in addition to the baggage allowance given on your ticket and on presenting your permanent Sindbad card to the check-in counter.

You are welcome to experience the comfort and hospitality of Our lounges at all destinations When traveling on Oman Air. Sindbad Gold members traveling on Oman Air have an additional privilege of inviting a guest (who is travelling on the same flight) to use the Business Class lounge facility. Sindbad members holding First Class redemption tickets are welcome to experience our First Class lounge at Muscat International Airport.

You are entitled to special discounts on in-flight duty-free items. Blue members receive a discount of 5%, Silver members receive a discount of 7% and Gold members receive a discount of 10%.*

*Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion and can only be availed only on presenting your permanent plastic membership card.

You will receive priority baggage delivery, which means that your bags will be unloaded first at your destination.

When requested at least 48 hours prior to travelling, you will be met at Muscat International Airport by a member of Oman Air’s staff and assisted through immigration.   

Thanks to our Silver and Gold tier bonuses, the higher your membership tier the more Sindbad Miles you earn. And the more Sindbad Miles you earn, the quicker you can make redemptions. Silver members earn a bonus of 125%, equal to1.25 Sindbad Miles, for every mile flown on Oman Air, while Gold members earn a bonus of 150%, equal to 1.5 Sindbad Miles

Each year, upon receiving or renewing your Gold membership, you will receive two free upgrade vouchers. These vouchers can be used by you or an accompanying traveller. Upgrades should be requested through the Membership Service Centre and are subject to the regular booking rules.

Sindbad Gold Members can request for redemption upgrades from Business Class to First Class on Oman Air flights that offer First Class service. Redemption Upgrade to First Class is possible only on tickets issued in Full Fare Business Class (Booking Classes J and C).
