1. Sindbad Miles
Every time you fly Economy, Business or First class on Oman Air, or transact with one of our programme partners, you will earn Sindbad miles (To view Sindbad miles that you can earn with our programme partners, please click here).
You will earn:
- 1 Sindbad Mile for each mile you fly in Full Fare Economy Class.
- 2 Sindbad Miles for each mile you fly in Full Fare Business Class.
- 3 Sindbad Miles for each mile you fly in Full Fare First Class.
Promotional & Discounted fares also earn Sindbad Miles but at a slightly reduced rate. For details check our Mileage Calculator.
Note:
- All Members travelling after 1st January 2012 will earn Miles on all on all tickets purchased on Oman Air including ‘O’ and ‘U’ Class tickets (25% of the Miles). Members also qualify for Tier Miles and Sectors.
- Oman Air tickets booked in O and U class and travelled before 1st January 2012 are not eligible for earning miles.

2. Status Miles
Status Miles can only be earned when flying Oman Air and are used to determine your membership tier.
You will earn:
- 1 Status Miles for every mile you fly in Economy class.
- 2 Status Miles for every mile you fly in Business Class.
- 3 Status Miles for every mile you fly in First Class.

Terms and conditions :
- All redemption flights are subject to availability and must be booked at least 7 days prior to departure for Blue members, 3 days prior departure for our Silver members and 1 day prior departure for Gold members.
- Passengers will be responsible for paying all the taxes, surcharges and levies, as applicable, while redeeming on airline partners.
- Above redemption chart requirement applies to both Adult and Child tickets.
- Miles cannot be redeemed for infant tickets.
- Seasonality:
Date for Economy LOW OW is from 16-Jan to 30-Apr and from 01-Oct to 15-Dec
Date for Economy HIGH OW is from 01-May to 30-Sep and from 16-Dec to 15-Jan
- EY does not offer OW redemptions. As such, only Return award tickets will be issued on Etihad.
- All other terms and conditions for redemption remain the same as that of redemption on Oman Air flights.
