These Terms and Conditions set out the contractual relationship between you and Oman Air’s frequent flyer Programme, Sindbad. Please familiarise yourself with these Terms and Conditions since they apply each time you earn or spend miles in Sindbad. They are intended to protect both you and Oman Air. By applying for membership and signing the enrolment form, you accept all the Terms and Conditions of Sindbad and any of its future changes.Oman Air reserves the right to change, vary or suspend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Reasonable efforts will be made to promptly post updates on the Sindbad website. Sindbad rules are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman and any proceeding with respect to or in connection with Sindbad must be brought in that jurisdiction.
1.1.1. Application for membership to Sindbad is only open to individuals. You may be enrolled as a member regardless of your nationality as long as you are at least 2 years of age (subject to local laws and regulations). Legal entities may not join Sindbad.
1.1.2. To become a member, you must enrol online by completing the Sindbad enrolment form on sindbad.omanair.com. On successful enrolment you will receive a password to operate your Sindbad account. It is your responsibility to ensure that the password is not disclosed to third parties. Oman Air will not be held liable for account misuse due to negligence on your part.
1.1.3. You may also complete the Sindbad enrolment form in full and submit it by email or post. Sindbad may accept or reject any application for membership at its sole discretion.
1.1.4. You are permitted to hold only one Sindbad account. If you have more than one Sindbad account, we will merge your accounts and transfer the miles into one account.
1.1.5. Every enrolment has to have a unique e-mail address i.e. Two members within Sindbad including children cannot use the same e-mail address.
1.2.1. A temporary Sindbad card is a personalized card that carries your details and is issued when you successfully enrol online for membership. On a paper enrolment form, a temporary Sindbad card can be detached and used.
1.2.2. A permanent Sindbad card, against which you earnSindbad miles and Tiermiles, will be issued after the first activity has been credited to your account. The first activity can be an Oman Air flight or a Sindbad Partner activity.
1.2.3. Only the member named on the Sindbad card may use it. Cards are not transferable.
1.2.4. You should produce the Sindbad card or Sindbad number at any time whilst travelling or otherwise utilizing any Services at the request of Oman Air or a Sindbad Partner. You should add your Sindbad number at time of booking or at check-in to ensure miles are credited automatically to your Sindbad account.
1.2.5. Oman Air and Sindbad Partners have the right to require you to produce your Sindbad card and quote your Sindbad number at any time while booking, ticketing, travelling or claiming a Reward.
1.2.6. At all times a Sindbad card remains the property of Oman Air and must be returned on demand to Oman Air.
1.3.1. Lost, stolen or damaged Sindbad cards must be reported by email to our Sindbad Service Centre in Oman. The Card will be replaced as soon as possible. Oman Air is not liable for any loss or damage that occurs from Sindbad cards not being reported lost or stolen, or in cases where the reporting of such loss or theft is delayed. Any missing miles should be claimed online through the Sindbad website. To replace lost stolen or damaged Sindbad cards, you need to contact the Sindbad Service Centre. Such replacement will be subject to a fee of 300 Sindbad miles for Sindbad Blue & Silver members.
1.3.2. Replacement is free of charge for Sindbad Gold members.
1.4.1. Sindbad Blue Card has no expiry date.
1.4.2. The Sindbad Silver and Gold Cards become null and void after the expiry stated on the Card.
1.5.1. You may terminate your Sindbad membership at any time by sending a written notice to the Sindbad Service Centre. All Sindbad miles credited but not exchanged for Rewards, as well as any un-utilized Rewards, will be cancelled as soon as you cease to be a member.
1.5.2. Oman Air gives no warranty as to the continuing availability of Sindbad. Oman Air may terminate or suspend Sindbad at any time. Oman Air will give at least six months notice to members of such termination or suspension, except if Oman Air ceases to operate an airline business in which case Sindbad will cease immediately.
1.5.3. If Oman Air terminates or suspends Sindbad, members will be able to redeem miles during the notice period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, except where Oman Air is ceasing to operate an airline business and/or has gone into liquidation or other form of administration, in which case Oman Air may terminate or cancel any Awards or Benefits immediately without notice.
1.5.4. Oman Air may in its absolute discretion suspend, cancel or terminate your membership or your accumulated Sindbad or Tiermiles at any time and reserves the right to seek compensation for Rewards utilized if, in Oman Air's sole judgment, that you have engaged in willful misconduct or breached any of the rules governing Sindbad.
1.5.5. Upon the suspension of a Sindbad membership, any miles accumulated will be lost.
1.5.6. A Sindbad membership account will be automatically terminated on the death of the member. Miles accumulated prior to this will be cancelled. However, Oman Air may, at its own discretion, reinstate Sindbad miles in favour of the heir of the deceased upon application and subject to fulfillment of all legal requirements.
2.1.1. Sindbad members can set up a Family account by completing the application process available online at Sindbad.omanair.com. Members who set up the account will be designated Family head for the Family account.
2.1.2. If you are a Family head you may nominate a maximum of eight Family members over two years of age to become members of your Family account.
2.1.3. Eligible Family account members are brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, spouses, children, grandchildren, parents-in-law, grandparents, and step-parents.
2.1.4. Providing separate emails for each Family account member is mandatory.
2.1.5. Family members will be issued with individual Sindbad numbers and Sindbad cards.
2.1.6. Use of the Family account indicates acceptance of the Sindbad Terms and Conditions.
2.1.7. In a Family account, only the Family head will have the following:
2.2.1. Changes to Family account can only be requested by the Family head and just one deletion/replacement of Family accountmember is permitted in one calendar year.
2.3.1. 100% of the Sindbad miles of a Family member earned after the date they are made part of a Family account is transferred to the Family head’s account.
2.3.2. Family members are not eligible to accrue Sindbad miles for promotions and for transactions with Sindbad Partners.
2.3.3. Family members are not eligible to accrue Tier miles and therefore will continue to remain in the Blue tier.
3.1.1. You can progress from Sindbad Blue to Silver and from Silver to Gold. In order to achieve Silver tier you must earn 25000 Tiermiles or take at least 20 flights operated by Oman Air in a calendar year. In order to achieve Sindbad Gold tier you must earn 50000 Tiermiles or take at least 40 flights operated by Oman Air in a calendar year.
3.1.2. Excess Tier Miles earned in any review period may not be carried forward to a subsequent period.
3.1.3. Upgrade to a Sindbad Gold or Silver tier depends on the Tiermiles earned or total number of eligible flights completed by you in a calendar year. Full details are set out on sindbad.omanair.com.
3.1.4. Oman Air may upgrade, downgrade or retain your membership tier at its discretion.
3.2.1. Across the Oman Air network, lounge access is available only forSindbad Silver and Gold members. If you are a Sindbad Gold member, you can invite a guest to the lounge facility provided they are travelling on an Oman Air flight at the same time.
3.2.2. At Muscat International Airport,
3.2.2. You must present your Sindbad cardto be admitted to the lounge. If you do not have your Sindbad card, you must present your boarding card or ticket (where your Sindbad number&tier are clearly visible). If you fail to produce any of these items, you may not get the complimentary invitation to the lounge.
3.2.3. If you have recently qualified to become a Sindbad Silver or Gold member, you may use a copy of the tier upgrade email sent to you to access the Lounge for the period mentioned on the letter.
3.3.1. Priority baggage delivery is available to Gold and Silver members travelling in any class on all Oman Air flights.
3.3.2. Guaranteed seat reservation in Economy Class is available to Gold members holding a full fare Economy Class ticket booked in ‘Y’ class. A guaranteed seat will be confirmed in Economy Class only when no seats are available in any other class on a particular flight. The guaranteed seat reservation request must be made at least 72 hours prior to flight departure.Gold members are entitled to an additional 20 kg and Silver members to an additional 15 kg over the baggage allowance shown on the ticket. All checked bags are subject to a maximum weight allowance of 32 kg per bag.
3.3.3. Additional baggage allowances are available to Gold and Silver members travelling on Oman Air flights and not on connecting airlines or Oman Air code share flights operated by other carriers.
3.3.4. Tier benefits and privileges provided to a member at each Membership Tier may be changed by Sindbad at any time without notice.
3.4.1. Some Services (such as the Lounge at Muscat and Salalah Airport) will be provided by Oman Air and others (such as Lounges at some airports) by Oman Air Service Partners. Oman Air will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the availability of Services provided by Oman Air Service Partners but will not be liable for any Loss arising from failure by Oman Air Service Partners to provide such Services except where such failure is caused by Oman Air.
3.4.2. Oman Air may discontinue relationships with Oman Air Service Partners at any time and will give you such notice of any discontinuance as is reasonably practical in the circumstances.
4.1.1. To earn Sindbad miles, you must quote your valid Sindbad number at reservation or check-in for a qualifying flight and at the time of purchase when transacting with a Sindbad Partner. Sindbad miles are credited upon completion of a qualifying flight on Oman Air or through the purchase of a qualifying product or service from one of the Sindbad Partners.
4.1.2. Oman Air reserves the right to make Sindbad miles and promotional offers available to selected members based on flight activity, geographic location, programme participation or any other criteria deemed appropriate for such promotion.
4.1.3. The number of Sindbad miles and Tiermiles issued for flights is determined and published by Sindbad, based on the combination of the flown distance and the booking class the travel was completed on. If you are upgraded to a different class of travel you will receive Sindbad miles as per your original ticket.
4.1.4. Miles can be earned for Partner activities as specified in the Partner pages on the website.
4.1.5. Miles for flight activities with Oman Air will take up to 4 working days to be credited to your account. Miles for Partner activities could take up to 4 weeks to be added to your account.
4.1.6. In the event you are transferred to an alternative flight due to unforeseen circumstances, you will earn Sindbad miles and Tiermiles as per the original flight details and not as per the revised route flown.
4.1.7. Missing miles claim must be reported online through the Sindbad website within six months of the date on which the transaction took place.
4.1.8. Neither Sindbad miles nor the Rewards have any convertible cash value.
4.2.1. Sindbad miles are valid for a period of three years from the date of transaction. Unused Sindbad miles will expire at the end of the stated validity period.
4.2.2. Any expired Sindbad miles will not be re-credited.
4.2.3. It is your responsibility to be aware of both the Sindbad miles in your account and their validity. This can be checked at any time online at sindbad.omanair.com
4.3.1. Transactions made within 90 days of enrolment are valid for mileage earning. Transactions that are over 90 days prior to the enrolment date are not eligible. Oman Air may request ticket numbers, boarding passes, ticket receipts while processing a missing miles claim.
4.3.2. The following options do not qualify to earn Sindbad miles and cannot be used to avail of Sindbad benefits: All types of Free travel tickets, Industry and Agent discounted tickets, Chartered flights, Flight rewards, specially discounted diplomat and government tickets or highly discounted tickets (booked in non-revenue booking classes) by Oman Air or any other airlines.
4.3.3. Miles may only be earned for one frequent flyer Programme for each flight or transaction unless otherwise stated in Sindbad terms and conditions.
4.3.4. Oman Air code share flights operated by the code share partner carrier and marketed by Oman Air are not eligible to earn miles and will not qualify for Flight rewards.
5.1.1. All Rewards available in Sindbad are as specified on sindbad.omanair.com. These are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Sindbad.
5.1.2. All Rewards are subject to availability.
5.1.3. The number of Sindbad miles required for a Reward is published on the Sindbad website and issubject to change. Oman Air may withdraw, replace or substitute Rewards at any time without notice.
5.1.4. To claim a Reward, you must have the required number of Sindbad miles in your account. You may redeem Sindbad miles for specified products and services at any time provided your miles are valid.
5.1.5. You may request Flight rewards, Upgrade rewards or other Rewards online at sindbad.omanair.com, through the Sindbad Service Centre in Oman or an Oman Air reservation office.
5.1.6. Redemption of Sindbad miles may be requested only by the Sindbad member (or by a parent or a legal guardian on behalf of a member less than 18 years of age).
5.1.7. A member may redeem a Reward for anyone provided the request is made by the member authorising debit of miles from their account.
5.1.8. Any taxes, fees or charges that are applicable to a Reward (Flight reward, Upgrade rewards or other) will have to be paid by you at the time of making the request.
5.1.9. Rewards that have been bought, sold or bartered by or to you may be cancelled or confiscated instantly at the sole discretion of Oman Air and you are liable for payment of the used portions.
5.1.10. To the extent permitted by law Oman Air accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of any damage, death, delay, injury or loss arising out of or in connection with the services or Rewards supplied by Oman Air or a Sindbad Partner.
5.1.11. Determination of the value of the Sindbad miles is at the sole discretion of Sindbad. Sindbad reserves the right to change the price of Sindbad miles, impose additional conditions for purchasing Sindbad miles at any time.
5.2.1. An application for a Flight reward must be made:
5.2.2. A Reward ticket is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
5.2.3. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (including but not limited to insurance and visa) for a Flight reward.
5.2.4. A Flight reward cannot be endorsed to another carrier.
5.2.5. Rerouting and rebooking of Flight rewards is permitted at any time on payment of applicable service charges provided that both, the miles and the ticket are valid at the time of rebooking/rerouting. No Reward booking fees apply to Gold members.
5.2.6. Charges for Rerouting/rebooking Flight rewards:

5.2.7. All fees and charges applicable for rerouting/ rebooking or refund are non-refundable.
5.3.1. One-class upgrades (e.g. Economy to Business Class, or Business to First Class).on Oman Air flights are available, provided the revenue ticket has been issued prior to the upgrade being requested, the request is made at least 24 hours in advance of travel and seats are available.
5.3.2. Only Gold and Silver members are allowed to redeem Miles for an Upgrade Reward from Business Class to First Class) subject to availability.
5.3.3. A Member must hold a confirmed ticket for the flight they wish to upgrade prior to requesting an Upgrade Reward. All ticketing and fares rules applicable to the base ticket must be followed at all times.
5.3.4. To book a Business Class upgrade, you must hold a confirmed Economy Class ticket booked in Y, H, M or B booking class. Economy Class tickets booked in K, I, Q, T, N, L booking classes and redemption tickets cannot be upgraded.
5.3.5. To book a First Class upgrade, you must hold a confirmed Business Class ticket booked in J or C booking classes. Business Class tickets booked ‘D’ booking class cannot be upgraded.
5.4.1. Once issued, name changes are not permitted on any Flight reward ticket.
5.4.2. Sindbad will issue any Reward to a third party at your request, but once issued, Rewards are not transferable.
5.4.3. Sindbad miles may be re-credited to you after deduction of applicable service charges, provided the Flight reward is completely unused and valid.
5.4.4. Sindbad miles will not be re-credited if you do not cancel your reservation at least one day prior to the commencement of your journey or do not report to the airport in time for your flight (no-show).
5.4.5. In the event that Sindbad or operations of Oman Air are altered, suspended, cut back or cancelled, Sindbad is unable to guarantee that any affected Flight rewards booked will be honoured. Miles for such Flight rewards booked but not honoured will be reinstated to your Sindbad account.
5.5.1. Lost, stolen or destroyed Flight rewards may be replaced if you report the incident to the nearest Oman Air office and sign the appropriate form, and can establish that the ticket was not used prior to its loss, theft or destruction. There are no charges for issuing replacement tickets.
6.1. Eligibility: To be eligible to participate in a Raffle, you must be a Sindbad member at least 18 years of age. If anyone is found to be under this age they will automatically forfeit the right to a prize and no refund shall be given.
6.2. You must have enough accrued Sindbad miles in your account at the time of purchasing a Raffle ticket. Sindbad miles that are not yet accrued and credited to your Sindbad account at the time you place the purchase order are not available for purchase of Raffle tickets.
6.3. Sindbad miles will be debited from your account as soon as a Raffle ticket is purchased.
6.4. In order to participate in a Raffle you must purchase at least one Raffle ticket. You may have the possibility to purchase multiple Raffle tickets for the same draw. Multiple Raffle tickets will mean multiple Raffle entries and thus multiple chances to win in the draw. No refunds will be given as a result of multiple entries.
6.5. The purchase of a Raffle ticket and therefore the participation in the specific draw is considered "completed" once you see the respective confirmation page. In case the purchase for a Raffle ticket is interrupted and the confirmation page is not displayed, you must repeat the purchase process.
6.6. After the purchase of a Raffle ticket, you will automatically participate in the specific draw you purchased the Raffle ticket for.
6.1.7. Sale of Raffle tickets for a specific Raffle closes on the Raffle closing date mentioned on the Sindbad website. Raffle period, time and date of draw and all other applicable terms will be established by Oman Air for each Raffle and be published on the Sindbad website.
6.8. After a Raffle is closed, a blind draw of one winning ticket and two substitute tickets from all sold tickets will be held no later than 15 days after the closure of a Raffle. The winner will be the person whose ticket number is first chosen at the blind draw. The decision of Oman Air will be final and binding on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.9. The winner will be informed by email. The winner will be required to confirm their identity and legal age by providing a copy of the relevant page of their passport, driver’s license or national identity card to Oman Air. Following receipt and verification of the details, the winner will be contacted in order to make arrangements for the delivery of the Raffle prize.
6.10. The winner explicitly agrees that his name and place of residence (country and state) as well as the number of Sindbad miles invested in the respective Raffle can be displayed on the Sindbad website for a certain period following the Raffle. In addition, in relation to a particular Raffle, it may be made a condition of that Raffle that consent is given for your photograph and details of that Raffle to be used for promotional purposes. If it is such a condition, by entering into that Raffle your consent is automatically deemed to have been given.
6.11. The conversion of a Raffle prize into a cash amount and the payment of such cash amount to the winner or any similar transactions are not possible. No alternative prize is offered other than that advertised.
6.12. Oman Air will store the winning prize free of charge for 7 days from the date of notification to the winner. If the Raffle prize is not claimed at the expiration of this grace period, OR the winner declines the prize, a second winner will be picked where possible from the pool of winners (in the sequence of their draw) and the prize will no longer be available to the original winner (and without any liability to Oman Air).
6.13. Should it be determined that the winner was not eligible to participate in or was expelled from the Raffle for any reason, such winner shall forfeit all Sindbad miles redeemed for such a Raffle.
6.14. Oman Air will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of accepting a prize.
6.1.15. Sindbad reserves the right to cancel any Raffle, for any reason, before or after all or some of the Raffle tickets have been sold. In these circumstances Oman Air will return the ticket purchase cost to all participants in the cancelled Raffle without obligation to pay any interest whatsoever.
6.16. Miles won from a raffle will be a valid for a period of 3 years from the day they are won in accordance to Clause 4.2.
6.17. By purchasing a Raffle ticket, you confirm that you are not breaching any laws in your country of residence regarding the legality of entering the Raffle. In case you participate in a Raffle although applicable jurisdiction prohibits Raffles and/of Raffle participation, Oman Air reserves the right not to give you the Raffle prize and still deduct the relevant miles from your Sindbad account. Oman Air will not be held responsible if you enter into any Raffle unlawfully. If in any doubt you should check with the relevant authorities in your country.
6.18. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and any other matter relating to a Raffle, the decision of Oman Air shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
7.1. If you do not have enough Sindbad miles to redeem for a Reward, you may top up your Sindbad account by purchasing additional Sindbad miles under the 'Buy miles' option.
7.2. Sindbad miles can only be purchased by Sindbad members.
7.3. Sindbad miles can be purchased online at sindbad.omanair.com or through Sindbad Service Centre.
7.4. Miles purchased will be valid for a period of 3 years in accordance to clause 4.2
7.5. To qualify for purchase of Sindbad miles using the ‘Buy miles’ option you must have at least one transaction registered in your Sindbad account.
7.6. If your membership details have not been recorded in the Sindbad system (pending membership account status), you cannot buy miles.
7.7. Purchased Sindbad miles can be redeemed for Rewards for you, your family and friends or any person whose name is mentioned on the Reward form, duly signed/authorized by you.
7.8. Each transaction under the Buy option can be for no less than 1,000 Sindbad miles and in multiples of 1,000 Sindbad miles thereafter. A maximum of 20,000 Sindbad miles can be purchased in any one calendar year.
7.9. Sindbad miles purchased through Sindbad Service Centre will be posted to your Sindbad account within 24 hours of completing the transaction. Miles purchased online will be posted immediately to your account.
7.10. Sindbad miles purchased under the 'Buy miles' option may not be pooled with Sindbad miles in another Sindbad account.
7.11. The cost per Sindbad mile purchased under the Buy miles option is 2.5 US Dollar cents per mile.
7.12. Transactions are irreversible and refunds in respect of Sindbad miles purchased are not permitted. Purchased miles are non-refundable.
7.13. The charges collected for purchase of Sindbad miles are exclusive of taxes or surcharges. All charges and related handling fees for Sindbad miles purchased through the ‘Buy miles option’ should appear on your monthly credit card statement.
7.14. In the event of any mileage or financial discrepancy, payment calculations shall be based upon data maintained by Oman Air or its agent and which shall take precedence over the data in any other records.
7.15. Sindbad miles purchased under this option do not qualify for tier evaluation i.e. these miles will not count toward tier upgrade or renewal and will not affect your tier. Tiermiles cannot be purchased and can only be earned through flight activity on Oman Air.
7.16. Reward rules mentioned in the Sindbad Terms and Conditions applies for purchased miles also.
7.17. Any improper usage or misuse of Sindbad miles shall be grounds for immediate forfeiture of such Sindbad miles, and may be grounds for the forfeiture of all Sindbad miles and termination of your Sindbad account.
7.18. You cannot sell your Sindbad miles at any time. All such Sindbad miles or Flight rewards are void if transferred for cash or other consideration. Any person who commits such acts is liable for damages, litigation and related costs to Oman Air and the membership of such persons may be terminated at the discretion of Oman Air.
7.19. Oman Air reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to approve or disapprove the participation of any Sindbad member in the purchase of Sindbad miles under the Buy miles option.
7.20. The purchase and use of Sindbad miles is subject to all rules, Terms and Conditions of Sindbad.
8.1. You may transfer Sindbad miles from your Sindbad account to another to enable the recipient to redeem Sindbad miles for a Flight reward.
8.2. Transfer of Sindbad miles can be only done online at sindbad.omanair.com. The transferred Sindbad miles will show in the transferor’s and the recipient's account immediately on completion of the transaction.
8.3. You can transfer or receive Sindbad miles if you have an active Sindbad account status. You cannot transfer or receive Sindbad miles if your membership details have not been recorded in the Sindbad system (pending membership account status).
8.4. Miles transferred are valid for a period of 3 years in accordance to clause 4.3
8.5. The request for transfer of Sindbad miles can only be made by the Family head. Family members are not allowed to transfer miles.
8.6. A minimum of 1,000 Sindbad miles can be transferred under the ‘Transfer miles’ option and up to a maximum of 50,000 Sindbad miles in any one calendar year.
8.7. Transfer of Sindbad miles will be charged at the rate of USD 20 for every block of 1,000 Sindbad miles transferred.
Sindbad miles once transferred cannot be cancelled or re-deposited to the transferor’s account.
8.8. Sindbad miles can only be credited to or transferred to another Sindbad member. These Sindbad miles cannot be purchased, or sold to any person at any time. All such Sindbad miles or Flight rewards are void if transferred for cash or other consideration. Any person who commits such acts is liable for damages, litigation and related costs to Oman Air and the membership of such person may be terminated at the discretion of Oman Air.
8.9. The charges collected for transfer are exclusive of taxes or surcharges. The charges collected for transfer are non-refundable and irreversible and are exclusive of taxes or surcharges. All charges and related handling fees for Sindbad miles transferred should appear on your monthly credit card statement.
8.10. Determination of the value of the Sindbad miles is at the sole discretion of Sindbad. Sindbad reserves the right to change the price of Sindbad miles transferred, impose additional restrictions on transferring Sindbad miles and / or conditions of obtaining Sindbad miles.
8.11. In the event of any mileage or financial discrepancy, payment calculations shall be based upon data maintained by Oman Air or its agent and which shall take precedence over the data in any otherrecords.
8.12. Sindbad miles transferred under this option do not qualify for tier evaluation i.e. will not count toward tier upgrade or renewal.
8.13. The transfer of Sindbad miles under this option does not guarantee a confirmed Flight reward. Redemption rules mentioned in the Terms and Conditions also apply for transferred miles.
8.14. Sindbad miles can only be transferred to another Sindbad account and cannot be transferred to a Frequent Flyer membership account with other airlines.
8.15. Any improper usage or misuse of Sindbad miles shall be grounds for immediate confiscation and forfeiture of such Sindbad miles, and may be grounds for the forfeiture of all Sindbad miles in your account and termination of your Sindbad account.
8.16. The transfer and use of Sindbad miles is subject to all rules, Terms and Conditions of Sindbad. The Terms and Conditions of Sindbad are subject to change without notice.
8.17. Oman Air reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to approve or disapprove the participation of any Sindbad member in the transfer of Sindbad miles under this Transfer of miles option.
9.1. Sindbad Partners, and the Terms and Conditions concerning their issuance of Sindbad miles vary by partner and are subject to change from time to time. The up-to-date list of such partnerships and offers is as featured on the Sindbad website.
9.2. Oman Air may change or terminate Sindbad Partners, or modify partner agreements as it deems necessary from time to time and without advance notice to members.
9.3. Oman Air will honour miles only if they have been allocated and reported by a Sindbad Partner prior to its withdrawal from Sindbad.
10.1. Your information which is held by Sindbad includes the information that you or a Sindbad Partner have provided to Sindbad through your enrolment and any future communication.

The consent given by you as an adult or your parent or legal guardian will continue in effect unless and until you withdraw the consent by notice in writing to the Sindbad Service Centre in Oman. Withdrawal of consent may mean that certain services are no longer provided to you, and entitles Sindbad to terminate your Sindbad membership with immediate effect.
10.4. You warrant that any information provided by you about any Family member is provided with the knowledge, consent and the authority of the Family member.
a. Applicant Is an eligible person who has filled in and signed an Application Form or has enrolled online through the Oman Air website or who has enrolled through any other approved source of enrolment and has agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the Programme.
b. Booking Class are the sub-classes of the class of service (First Class, Business Class and Economy Class) which are defined on the basis of fare paid and may vary according to restrictions such as advance purchase, minimum / maximum stay, rerouting /rebooking restrictions, refund charges etc.
c. Child is a person who has reached his/her second birthday but not his/her twelfth birthday (2-11 inclusive) as on the date of application (or date of commencement of travel for flight activities).
d. Code share flight is a practice whereby one airline permits a second airline to use the airline designator code of latter airline on flights operated by the former airline.
e. Family member means an immediate family member, who has been enrolled into Sindbad by the member (Family Head), as detailed in clause 10 of these Programme rules.
f. Member is an applicant who becomes a member of Sindbad on approval of the enrolment form and subsequent registration in Sindbad.
g. Membershiptier is the membership level in Sindbad i.e. Blue, Silver or Gold.
h. Qualifying flight means a flight taken on Oman Air or partner airlines between the point of origin and point of destination of the outward and/or return journey; that is eligible for earning Sindbad miles.
i. Reward / upgrade Reward / Flight reward Is a specific flight, service or product to be provided by Sindbad or a Sindbad Partner to a member in exchange for Sindbad miles.
j. Sindbad account means the account to which the Sindbad and Tiermiles of a member will be accrued or deducted.
k. Sindbad is the Frequent Flyer Programme of Oman Air, in which members collect miles in their membership account, which can then be redeemed for various benefits, privileges and Rewards. Sindbad is owned and operated by Oman Air, and it is a trademark or registered trademark of its own.
l. Sindbad miles are the reward currency issued to members for qualifying flights and or purchases made through Programme Partners. Sindbad miles can be redeemed in exchange for specific Redemption offers and have no cash value.
m. Sindbad partner is a participating provider of goods or services including Airlines, Banks, Hotels, Telecommunication providers, Leisure and Lifestyle service providers, Retailers, Car hire companies, and/or any other organization that Oman Air signs up to its Programme.
n. Sindbad service centre means the dedicated resource allocated to handle all queries and provide assistance to all Sindbad members.
o. Sindbad website means the Sindbad Website at sindbad.omanair.com
p. Tiermiles are the miles issued to members for a qualifying flight on Oman Air. Tiermiles are used to determine a member’s tier and are not exchangeable for cash or Rewards.
q. Transaction(s) means any flight or partner activity.
